Troy Allen, a native of Nashville, Tennessee, has lived in the Philadelphia suburbs since 2004. Born in 1951, he is the son of a carpenter and homemaker. He was diagnosed with Spasmodic Torticollis (Dystonia) in the mid-1980s. From the early 1980s until 2004, he was known in the Nashville area as a gifted artist and signpainter. In 2004, after a debilitating journey with ST, the father of two retired to Pennsylvania, where he uses yoga and a holistic approach to combat Dystonia and focuses his time & energy on creating acryllics and watercolors of unsurpassed beauty.
